Wireless controlled test glass changers from vajotec offer the possibility to change test glasses as required during the coating process. They can be mounted on moving substrate holders. Motors and gears are used which are not only suitable for high vacuum but also still work reliably at temperatures of up to 250°.

Changing between two test glasses takes only a few seconds.

Modular design of our test glass changers makes it possible to respond to customers’ special requirements in a simple and uncomplicated way:

• Size of the system (from Ø100mm up to Ø350mm)
• Size, shape and number of test glasses
• Communication with facility software

Wireless connection

Communication with the system is performed using a 2.4GHz protocol between base station and terminal device.

Built-in antennas increase reliability of the radio connection. Communication between the base station and the system operator can be done via handheld remote control, USB or Ethernet.

Thermal insulation

At continuous process temperatures of over 100°C, it is necessary to protect the electronic components of the module. Due to a sophisticated system of radiation shields, the electronics can be operated for many hours even if the substrate carrier has a permanent temperature of 250°C.
